There are many states that have far more reported sightings of Bigfoot, but Michigan, certainly, has more than its fair share.
Two years ago, my wife and a co-worker, were preparing to start their workday as they crossed the parking lot to enter their office building. Suddnely, they were startled by long, human-like screaming coming from the large wooded area that began at the southern border of their parking lot. They both froze and looked at each other, "What was that?" my wife asked her co-worker. The co-worker is an avid huntsman and said, "Well, it's sure not coyotes." Suffice it to say they hurriedly went inside; I should note that my wife has sat with me for the countless of hours watching Bigfoot type programming and listening to a Cliff Barackman, and James "BoBo" Fay, marathon of their "Bigfoot and Beyond" podcast, as we drove home to Michigan from Louisiana, so she has heard Bigfoot vocalizations before.
When I picked my wife up from work, she related the incident to me. I expressed how upset I was that she hadn't called me to come back to her office so I could look around. Anyway, not too many days after she had heard the scream, motorists stopped along the stretch of highway about half a mile from her office because a large, unknown being had been sighted and traffic stopped to watch it. so far, no one has come forward with pictures or video but there was a small write-up here.
